the very first episode of "Live at the Writers House"

This is Jeff Wachs, the very first on-air host of KWH's long-running radio program, "Live at the Writers House," aired on WXPN. We started the show in 1997. Sarah Giulian, then a junior, was the show's creator and director. Al Filreis and Vinnie Curran, Faculty Director of KWH and Station Manager of XPN respectively, were Executive Producers. And Jeff was the host. The photo above shows Jeff standing at the old KWH podium in the unrenovated Arts Cafe, wearing his stage pass, introducing the very first performer on episode 1. Recently "Live at the Writers House" recorded its 100th episode.
