"PennMOO" was a forerunner of the Writers House

A virtual poetry slam for hundreds of students worldwide, in PennMOO in March 1995 - weirdly a crucial forerunner to the development of the Writers House six months later. A MOO is/was a pre-graphical synchronous "chat" space where many people could meet to "do" things, including collaboratively create poems and other writing forms.
